Draft – to be reviewed by counsel

Privacy notice

Last updated 20 October 2026. This notice explains how MIA Global Technologies, LLC (“we”, “us”), a Colorado limited liability company, handles personal data on this website and in MIAlink. It is a draft and will be replaced by a reviewed notice before MIAlink handles real money.

What we collect

  • Access requests: your name, work email, optional phone number, company details and anything you write in the form, plus the internet address the request came from (to stop abuse).
  • Client and payout data: for approved businesses, the business-check documents they provide, and the sender and recipient details sent with each payout.
  • Technical data: request logs kept for security and troubleshooting. This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

  • To answer your access request and assess whether MIAlink is a fit for your business.
  • To carry out payouts, screen them against sanctions lists and meet legal record-keeping duties.
  • To keep the service secure and to investigate misuse.

Who we share it with

With the licensed payment partners, mobile money networks and banks that deliver a payout; with sanctions-screening and hosting providers (Amazon Web Services); and with authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.

Where it is kept and for how long

Data is stored, encrypted, on Amazon Web Services, with backups in a second region. Access requests that do not lead to an agreement are deleted after 24 months. Payout and business-check records are kept for as long as financial regulations in the relevant countries require.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or to stop being contacted, by writing to info@miaglobaltechnologies.com. Some records must be kept by law even after you ask us to delete them; we will tell you when that applies.
